Harris Family Connection

Terms of Service

Effective July 24, 2026

These terms are the agreement for using Harris Family Connection. It's a private space made for our family, and these terms exist to keep it welcoming, safe, and respectful. By using the app, you agree to them.

Who can use the app

The app is for members of the Harris family and people they invite. You must be old enough to manage your own account; a parent or guardian should oversee participation for a minor in their household. Access is a privilege extended to family, and it may be limited or ended if these terms are broken.

Your account

  • Provide accurate information about yourself, and keep it current.
  • Keep your password private, and don't let others use your account.
  • You're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell an administrator right away if you think someone else has access to it.

Being a good family member

Please use the app in the spirit it’s intended. Do not:

  • Harass, bully, threaten, or demean anyone.
  • Post content that is unlawful, hateful, or obscene.
  • Share another family member's private information without their permission.
  • Impersonate someone else, or misrepresent who you are.
  • Try to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the app, or to other members' accounts.
  • Use the app for advertising, solicitation, or anything unrelated to the family.

Content you share

You keep ownership of the photos, posts, stories, and other content you share. By posting it, you allow the app to store and display it to other family members as part of how the app works. Please only share content that is yours to share, or that you have permission to share — and be considerate about posting photos of others.

You are responsible for your own content. We don’t claim it as our own, and we won’t use it outside the app.

Dues and payments

The app may let you pay reunion dues, order shirts, or make donations. When online payment is available, it’s handled by a trusted processor (Stripe or PayPal); the amount owed is set by the family, not by the app on its own. Questions about a payment, a refund, or a correction are handled by the family treasurer. The family’s financial records are kept as a permanent, unedited ledger — a mistake is fixed with a correcting entry, never by erasing history.

Moderation and ending access

Family administrators may hide or remove content that breaks these terms, and may suspend or remove an account when necessary to protect the family and its members. If your account is removed, your personal content is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. You may also ask an administrator to close your account at any time.

The app is provided as-is

We offer this app to the family as a labor of love, without any warranty. It’s provided “as is,” and we can’t promise it will always be available, error-free, or that content will never be lost. To the fullest extent allowed by law, the family members who build and maintain the app aren’t liable for damages arising from its use. Please keep your own copies of anything irreplaceable.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app grows. When we do, we’ll change the effective date at the top, and for significant changes we’ll let the family know within the app. Continuing to use the app means you accept the updated terms.
